What you will study in the Advanced Course of Care and Welfare

Individuals who have graduated from a junior college and have obtained a nursery school teacher’s license may continue their education in advanced course to acquire expert knowledge and skills in the field of living support for challenged children and adults, and the elderly. After one year study, students are eligible for the national care worker examination.

Points of Study

This course of study instills a high regard for human dignity; and students draw on aspects of caregiving and other related fields to learn ways to help elderly and physically and mentally challenged individuals attain independent lifestyles and achieve self-realization. In addition, hands-on training at caregiving facilities teaches students the practical application of basic skills and knowledge, and develops them into welfare specialists capable of widely supporting individuals from children with disabilities to the elderly.
