2026年9月29日（火）に西九州大学短期大学部、9月30日（水）に西九州大学において、留学生を対象とした奨学金支給式を開催しました。

式では、西九州大学では兒玉学長、西九州大学短期大学部では福元学長から、奨学金の意義や留学生への期待についてお話しいただき、奨学生へ温かい激励の言葉が贈られました。
また、奨学生を代表して、社会福祉学科4年のWIN PA PA SOEさん（西九州大学）、地域生活支援学科 多文化コース2年のHTET HTET MARさん（西九州大学短期大学部）が挨拶を行いました。
それぞれ、奨学金への感謝の気持ちを述べるとともに、日本の文化や社会について学びを深め、自国と日本との交流に貢献していきたいとの抱負を力強く語りました。
奨学生の皆さん、このたびは採用、誠におめでとうございます。

At the ceremonies, President Kodama of Nishikyushu University and President Fukumoto of Nishikyushu University Junior College spoke about the significance of the scholarships and their expectations for the international students, offering warm words of encouragement to the recipients.
Representing the scholarship recipients, WIN PA PA SOE, a fourth-year student in the Department of Social Welfare at Nishikyushu University, and HTET HTET MAR, a second-year student in the Multicultural Studies Course of the Department of Community Life Support at Nishikyushu University Junior College, delivered remarks.
Both students expressed their gratitude for receiving the scholarships and spoke with determination about deepening their understanding of Japanese culture and society and contributing to greater exchange between Japan and their home countries.
